Graduate Profile

Our graduates speak up to four foreign languages, can work with common computer programs and thus have all the prerequisites for admission to secondary school and subsequent success in the job market.

A set of knowledge, skills, habits and attitudes applicable in various learning and practical activities and situations.

Learning Competency

We guide students toward responsibility for their education, support independence and creativity, and teach planning and evaluation.

Problem-Solving Competency

We create practical problem-solving tasks, support logical thinking, teamwork and the use of modern technology.

Communication Competency

We develop communication skills in both the native and foreign languages, teach listening and appropriate expression of opinions.

Social and Personal Competency

We support group learning, develop the ability to take on various team roles, and do not tolerate manifestations of racism.

Civic Competency

We guide students toward self-respect and respect for others, and do not tolerate socially pathological behavior.

Work Competency

We foster a positive attitude toward work, create stimulating work environments, and motivate career choices.

Digital Competency

We guide students in using digital devices, critical evaluation of information and effective use of technology.

Teaching Methods and Strategies

Activity-Based Learning Problem-Based Teaching Critical Thinking Group Work CLIL Method E-Learning Experiments Laboratory Work Projects Competitions and Tournaments

We supplement teaching with excursions, field trips, trips abroad, recreational events, outdoor schools and ski courses.

Support for Students with Special Needs

Students with SLD

Individual approach, pedagogical support plans (PLPP), specific learning disability remediation classes once a week, collaboration with PPP.

Gifted Students

Individual work, competitions and olympiads, option to attend classes in a higher grade or skip a grade.

Non-Czech Speaking Students

Czech language instruction of 100-200 hours per year for students who have been in the Czech Republic for no more than 1 year.

SEP Revision

From the 2025/2026 school year, we are gradually revising the SEP to align with the revised Framework Educational Program.

Projects and Grants

The school participates in the Šablony and JAK projects. Previously, it implemented ESF projects worth over 9 million CZK in total.

Virtual School for Gifted Students

OP Prague - Adaptability project (2010-2012), 4.6 million CZK. E-learning environment for exceptionally gifted students.

Languages and IT

ESF JPD 3 project (2006-2008), 4.3 million CZK. Improving language and computer skills.
